There could be a glimmer of hope in the franchise for the hardcore horror fans as rumors continue to circulate on who might be getting behind the camera for the third Twilight adaptation, The Twilight Saga's Eclipse, which is already targeting a June 30, 2010 release. Our sources tell us Summit has officially passed on Drew Barrymore (thank God), but now it's being reported by THR that horror wunderkind -- and Guillermo Del Toro protege -- Juan Antonio Bayona (The Orphanage) has emerged as one of the finalists to direct the third movie in Stephenie Meyer's teen vampire franchise. He's also currently signed on to direct the dystopian thriller Hater for Universal.
I'm sorry but I'm just going to say it. Fuck this Twilight shit already! On behalf of all fans of true horror and art we demand more Meat Trains, more Repo: The Genetic Operas, more Tokyo Gore Police and more Inland Empires and so on. Oh and by the way. I'm not sorry.
woa now, the only reason twilight is considered horror is because of the fact that there are vampires and were-wolves involved in the story, and are they really that bad, sorry but I'm a fan
lol some of you need to shut the fuck up crying like bitches.
