Premiering at SXSW this weekend before arriving in theaters on March 27 is Lionsgate's The Haunting in Connecticut, which looks pretty f*cking awesome. Today the first official clip was posted online and features an array of ghost birds, read on to check it out. Based on a chilling true story, Haunting charts one family's terrifying, real-life encounter with the dark forces of the supernatural. Virginia Madsen (Candyman) stars.
Interesting scare they put up there. I for sure was gonna think that she was either gonna pull the sheet away and find something creepy under the bed, or the bird was gonna strike at her. Hmm...this looks pretty scary for being PG-13.
Supernatural shit can be real scary. It's the unknown. Did it really happen? Or is it real ? Very hard to dispute. I'm not a big fantasy/ghost fan, but if done right, I'm in. The trailer for this looks pretty good. A couple of ghost stories that got me were the original AMITYVILLE HORROR and THE ENTITY.
I won't be surprised when "Haunting..." will be rated 4 or maybe 5/10 on BD ;)
