Arriving in Canadian cinemas this spring and here in the States on May 29 from IFC Films is Bruce McDonald's speech-turned-virus horror thriller Pontypool (review), which had its world premiere last September at the Toronto International Film Festival. We finally got our hands on some interesting stills from the film that follows a small-town radio station that discovers that recent madness in the local population may be caused by a virus transmitted through speech. Click here for the trailer or read on for the new pics.
The premise sounds cool and those images are great. This is yet another non-mainstream movie that I am looking forward to.
