Rob Zombie posted a pretty sweet new image today on his official MySpace page giving us our first look at horror vet Bill Moseley as "Uncle Coffins" in H2, his sequel to Halloween arriving in theaters August 28th. Dimension's sequel picks up right as the first remake ended, following the aftermath of Michael Myers' murderous rampage through the eyes of the sister he hunted.

"Here is the first look at Bill Moseley from Halloween 2 as Uncle Coffins host of Haddonfield's Creature Double Feature," writes Zombie.

That's the "Dr. Death" makeup and attire worn by Vincent Price in Madhouse. Very cool.

It is very much like the Dr. Death look. Love the whole horror host thing.

The return of the "white trash" element [sometimes known as the "hillbilly" element] is again introduced. What a cogent observation. I guess "Devil's Rejects vs. White Trash MM" alludes to this particular actor being used in Rejects, though he does look somewhat different here. Excellent insight, though.

Reminds me a little of "Seymour" from Fright Night. A show back in the 70's. Before Elvira and Moona Lisa. But after Vampira's days.

I like how this Halloween is going to have more of that Halloween "feel"...the holiday feel, not the movie feel.

Uncle Coffins looks awesome!!!

Zombie is really running with the halloween theme here, I LOVE it! It's about time someone really used the theme for a horror film, then having Michael Myers is the icing on the cake. This movie is already looking completely different than Zombie's Halloween, I'm starting to dig it.

My words exactly Comfycasket.

Your right Comfycasket. The last movie didnt have a Halloween night feel to it at all but this one does, with all the characters dressed up so thats an improvement.

Comfycasket,I agree also.Getting rid of Daeg was also a step in the right direction, although were still looking at a weak cast.Without a good group of actors its hard to make a great movie.Scout needs to go!

I get so excited when there are updates on PIKE-BILLY'S new movie coming out. I like to count how many times he cries about other people's opinions and then attacks all of them in what he thinks is an intelligent verbal assault. Pike, I think shitting your shorts every day on this site is going to weigh down on your parents' clothing allowance for you. We're in a recession ya know. Poor financial management, lad.

Okay, now THAT is pure awesome. Now if the whole movie could be as cool as this one pic then it'll be instantaneously amazing.
