Fox Home Entertainment will be releasing the long, long, long delayed Possession on Blu-ray/DVD May 12. After such a brutal delay, one can only assume the movie is terrible, but I guess we'll find out soon enough. The film centers on a woman (Sarah Michelle Gellar) whose husband and brother-in-law both end up in a coma after an accident. When the brother awakes, claiming to be her husband, she must try to understand the reality, suspecting something more sinister is at work. Check out the trailer below.
This one looked really cool. Even though it's been held back and is going straight to DVD, I still have hope though since they've delayed Mandy Lane for so long and that movie was awesome. The US just doesn't know when a movie's a good movie.
This movie actually looks pretty good. Just because a movie is delayed repeatedly doesn't make it terrible. I'm just glad it's finally getting released, even if it isn't in theaters.
Judging only from the above synopsis, it sounds like a comedy because all Sarah has to do is tell the brothers, which one is the real husband. This isn't a new Seth Rogan movie is it?
The trailer wasn't half bad. I'm not a fan of Gellar unless she's slaying vampires, but Lee Pace (The Fall, Infamous, Pushing Daisies) is awesome. I would give it a Netflix if that's its destiny.
I'll watch this film just for William B. Davis.
He's fantastic.
