The images from the set of H2 continue to pour in as Rob Zombie's posted your first look at Dan Roebuck as Lou Martini, owner of the Rabbit in Red hanging at the 20th Haddonfield Pumpkin Bash. Can you say partaaay? Beyond the break you can check out Roebuck as the Frankenstein monster. Dimension Films plans on releasing the sequel in theaters August 28.
Mr. Roebuck can be seen briefly in the first one walking Sheri to her car after her performance in club. Some of his stuff was dropped from the finished film.
Now that Daeg's being recast, I have a hard time being as excited as I was for this one...didn't he do that in Devil's Rejects with Mama Firefly and ruin that one too??
I love the first film, but i was kind of hoping this film would be flashback free but seeing as Daeg has been recast thats not going to happen, i just dont know what else Zombie has to show us about Michaels past.
"didn't he do that in Devil's Rejects with Mama Firefly and ruin that one too??" I have a two-part answer for you. Yes, he recast Mama Firefly in REJECTS... because Karen Black didn't want to come back. No, he didn't ruin REJECTS by recasting, because Leslie Easterbrook is A)fantastic in the role, and B)a far more gracious and grateful actress than Miss Black.
he'll probable run into michael, and michael will realize that this is the fucker who caused him so much humiliation in his child hood (i.e. bullies in first halloween with rabbit in red coupon, sheri moon nude)
jkrouskop, I agree that Devil's Rejects was certainly not ruined by the lack of Karen Black, but I DID miss her. Leslie Easterbrook did a fine job, I just thought Karen Black got the gross sluttiness down a bit better. I still look forward to H2. RZ makes a fine movie.
Frankenstein vs Michael, wonder what that would be like? H2 is looking good, I love all the halloween themed decorations.
