Motion posters are the new cool, and that's all there is to it. Warner Bros. blew my mind with their motion poster for Terminator Salvation. Now, Lionsgate has jumped on the bandwagon with their own motion one sheet that's just as f*cking sweet. Beyond the break you can check out a little ectoplasmic vomiting from The Haunting in Connecticut, their new haunted house film arriving in cinemas on March 27.
Based on a chilling true story, Lionsgate's THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT charts one family's terrifying, real-life encounter with the dark forces of the supernatural. When the Campbell family moves to upstate Connecticut, they soon learn that their charming Victorian home has a disturbing history: not only was the house a transformed funeral parlor where inconceivable acts occurred, but the owner's clairvoyant son Jonah served as a demonic messenger, providing a gateway for spiritual entities to crossover.
Now unspeakable terror awaits, when Jonah, the boy who communicated with the powerful dark forces of the supernatural, returns to unleash a new kind of horror on the innocent and unsuspecting family.
Everyone hated the static poster of the same image... saying it looked like the kid was throwing up and whatnot... But now that its moving they love it and want it on their walls? WTF! "i don't like seeing a kid with vomit halfway out his mouth, but I LOVE seeing a kid vomitting!" and yes I know its not vomit, I was reflecting everyone who commented on the static poster.
anyone see that ad they've had up on myspace all day? if you watch closely you'll notice that one of the engravings on the guy's skin says suspiria. random, but i thought it was cool.
