While the following isn't huge news or anything, it's still fun to wonder "what if?" This afternoon BC attended the junket for Rogue Pictures' The Last House on the Left where asked known sweet potato fry enthusiast Monica Potter whether she was ever asked to rejoin the Saw franchise, being that she is one of the very few characters to exit the series without being killed off. You can read all about it inside.
“They asked me to come back for I think the 3rd and “final”, they said it was the final one," she tells Bloody-Disgusting. "But... part of the reason I didn’t come back is I just didn’t want to. It wasn’t a script thing or anything, it’s just I did the first one and that was plenty.”
She then asked what part they were on now, and was stunned to hear that part VI was already in production.
“No they’re not! Are you kidding? Well they’re not dumb, I can say that. They make money.”
Last House on the Left opens March 13th; keep checking back for interviews with Potter, Wes Craven, and other cast and crew from the film!
In the film Potter plays Emma, who is on vacation with her husband and daughter at their lakeshore house when, by a bizarre twist of fate, they give shelter to the sociopaths who have just assaulted and nearly killed their daughter. Upon discovering the truth, they exact a chilling revenge on her attackers...
boo i would've loved for her to return. or at least they should mention her at some poin in 6 or 7. same for gordon. he has to return or at least be mentioned so we know what happend to him.
I think it's funny that so many people who act in these horror films have no idea what goes on past the one they're in. She must not watch much tv or anything... you'd think she'd hear a "SAW V" tv spot or something....

Personally this I think this should be the last one. Or at the very most the second to last. But in Hollywood as long as their is money their are sequels.
I can't believe she doesn't know about them! I thought she would come back being she survived! weird.... or a play off! who knpws but yea after six let it be dead! I mean Jigsaw is.... whats left? The killer in five was NO JIGSAW......so I think it's time to say goodbye to the franchise.it's not like Jason or Michael or Freddy...;et it go and I acyually enjoy them but its dead in the water!
i just adore Monica. i'm glad she never came back, just to get killed off or something. i'm sure she knew that there are SAW's after her film but she probably just didn't know what part they were up to. I follow and read up on horror movies every chance i get and even I sometimes am like "what part ARE they up to in SAW!". lol.
plus she's a WORKING and well liked/loved actress,
she has better things to be doing than wondering what part the SAW franchise is up to.

It's going to turn into the 'roger moore' era of bonds films. Amusing, but very tireing soon.
