MTV revealed tonight that the second film in the Twilight franchise will officially be titled The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Beyond the break you can take your first look at the logo for Summit's film hitting theaters November 20, 2009. The film is set to be directed by Chris Weitz and follows Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) once again who is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black. Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and finds her loyalties tested.

The Twilight Saga? So stupid. Should have just stuck to "New Moon", what's so hard about that?

Yeah, kind of a dumb title with the "The Twilight Saga:" precursor... given how dedicated its fans are, I think they'd know that it's the sequel.

"from your comments i'm guessing most of you are some sort of retards/school dropouts/dope fiends...talking shit like you have some idea about film, but really, not a clue".... couldn't agree more ghoulie76, not necessarily about the film but about the blatant homophobia on this site. What happened to discussing the films, and since when the fuck was it OK to be so derogitory to gay people!! ....As for the film, the first one wasn't great, so will wait to see what this one is like before passing judgement.

Twilight what??? Check out "Gutterballs" instead. It's awesome.

Ghouluie, the only reason Twilight made any kind of money was because of the book. There were so many pre-teen little kids in the showing. This movie was shit from beginning to end. There were so many things wrong with it I cant even start to name them all. I also find it funny they dropped the director plus a few actors shortly after the release. If that isnt indication enough of how bad this was, then you must have been one of those pre-teen little girls squealing over Edward the Pale.

Lostnthough actually the movie WAS good. I enjoyed it. I saw it multiple times in the theater. The director was changed yes, but thats because SHE chose not to return because of how soon they needed to release this one. None of the cast has been replaced so if you're going to say someones facts are wrong and then state your own...make sure yours are right. and I agree with Realsolution. When did this place gets so fucking homophobic and derogatory. UGH!

Nothing at all wrong with being gay! I was mearly stating that these films are geared toward that audience. I apologize to those of you who cant take a joke.

I for one don't really care to read about a PG13 teen movie. Go put this shit on some other site. THIS IS FOR HORROR!!!!!!
