If you live in Los Angeles you'll have another opportunity to see William Malone's Parasomnia, which is a horrifying love story about an art student who falls in with a sleeping beauty, only to find out too late that she holds a deadly secret. The film will be playing Thursday, March 5th at the American Cinematheque in Hollywood, CA. It is only part of a celebration of the amazing art of late Polish Surrealist Zdzislaw Beksinski. There will also be a panel discussion with MALONE, WES CRAVEN, TOBE HOOPER, MICK GARRIS regarding the influence fine art has had on film. Check out the flyer below.
Parasomnia was a pretty good and interesting flick, I saw it a few months back and it certainly has Bill Malone's intense signature style all over it. While I do not love all of his films, Parasomnia is certainly worth checking out :)
