If you enjoyed the Stephen King short in the Creepshow anthology, then you might want to get in on Mold, a new indie horror film from Neil Meschino. Beyond the break you can check out some behind-the-scenes footage from the film, which is set in 1984, when the war on drugs was at its height, the story concerns a strain of mold developed by the government to wipe out Colombian coca fields. Unfortunately, during a demonstration, the mold gets out of control and proves to be deletirious to more than just vegetation. The result, Meschino tells us, is “conspiracy, murder, torture, mutilation, melting eyes, collapsing heads, vomit, more vomit, half-naked chicks and gooey, gory fun.
