Night Creatures Jams in Haddonfield

Rob Zombie has made yet another announcement for his forthcoming sequel to his reboot of Halloween, this time it includes some jams. "Jesse Dayton will appear in H2 as Captain Clegg and the Night Creatures -- a local Haddonfiled shit-kicker group. Jesse has recorded an entire album of tunes as Captain Clegg and they fucking rock," he continues. "As you may remember Jesse was the man behind the sound of BANJO AND SULLIVAN from The Devil's Rejects." The new film picks up right as the first remake ended, following the aftermath of Michael Myers' murderous rampage through the eyes of the sister he hunted.

Here is a taste of Jesse live rocking some B&S.

Still can't wait for the movie. I just love reading all of the comments to see how pissed off people get about this movie. But they will still be paying to see it.

They f---ing rock!Thats his quote.Im just curious, does anyone know how many times that word was used in the remake compared to Carpenters.Just because Rob talks this way evey character in his movie has to talk this way also.I wished he create some original characters and not images of himself.

Thanks BD for keeping the news coming. Also kudos to Mr. Zombie and his guys for making films in their own fashion. You guys f---ing rock.

Actually, since I have never been frightened or taken aback by words [I like words], and since fuck & f---k obviously resonate in the reader's mind as exactly the same thing, I'll amend my previous observation: you guys fucking rock.

Bleed24: Not being a smartass, I will watch Rob Zombie's "Halloween" this week and count the "f-bombs." Do you want to know from the theatrical version or the unrated? In Carpenter's Halloween they may not have used that word at all. "Fuck" wasn't real common in movies then.

coffinjoe:The theatrical.,and i think your right about Carpenters.Thanks

EEGH! Why the fuck does this have to be another trailer trash exploitation movie? I HATE IT! "Halloween" is my favorite movie, ever. And I just pretend that no remakes exist.

After watching Danielle Harris in 4and 5,it was kinda tough to watch her in this new role and using the f word, cursing.I know she is all grown up,but when u get taken with a kid star like that, its just tough to get past.I think she is great and would have made a better Laurie.

i understand Zombie is basically white trash (and i'm NOT putting him down for that) but i really wish EVERY movie he does DOES NOT have to be a white trash movie. Haddonfield (i prefer) was supposed to be the "perfect", picturesque setting that makes the murders or is supposed to (IMO) make the murders THAT MUCH MORE unsettling. that being said, i hope this turns out to be a great (or even good) movie (even though it's the RUSH JOB from hell!).

Last post was out in left field ,sorry. It was just a thought

I think the Danielle Harris thing is tough for some to get past, but remember When cute little Drew Barrymore was in E.T. Next thing you know, she flashing her stuff in Playboy. People grow up.

The only white trash element from the first one was Michael's upbringing and family. I don't think the rest of the story was totally white trash, just my opinion. It definately had RZ's style and stamp on it which is really a homage to the 70's exploitation/grindhouse movies he obviously loves just like Tarantino does.

Good point.Coffinjoe when u go back and watch RZ Halloween,or maybe u can give your opinion now, didnt u think the 3 girls were just a little annoying and little over the top.I just keep comparing Scout to Curtis and its probably an unfair comparison

Scout fingering the bagel, I just kept thinking Laurie Strode woudnt do that, but then again she did smoke pot.

ggoblin31:Are u thinking this Halloween is going to be a repeat of the first. To me, the news ,seems to suggest it.

Comparing the two (Curtis and Scout) is like apples and oranges (I know, cliche). Jamie Lee Curtis was more laid back and not so vulger. It was two completely different eras in the people really acted and in film. I'm not sure RZ's Halloween would have been allowed back then without massive cuts. Anyways, I think Scout represents a good portion (not all) of the female generation today. Girls are getting to be more vulgar. Even in public. It never really bothers me in a film. I'm a little wierded out when I hear about some girls sexual activities when I'm in the store, but times are different. I never think that I am that far out of touch but maybe we are all just getting older.

The big problem is comparing the original and the remake period. They are 2 different movies with the same source material, nothing more. Carpenters stands on its own, separate from RZ's. Why would you want the remake to be the exact same carbon copy of the original (that for the record, really didn't need to be remade). If it's going to be done, it has to be it's own original take. Why bother with Quarantine when you have the superior REC? Or Gus Van Sants Psycho? The originals stand the test of time, but if you are remaking, it's pointless to do it shot for shot, line for line...just watch the original!
