By now you should all own a copy of His Name Was Jason, the exhaustive DVD set with hours of interviews from just about all your favorite Friday the 13th personnel (damn you Steve Miner!). But you might have a couple questions about the movie, such as: Why are there no clips from the New Line movies? Why isn't Kevin Bacon in it? Director Dan Farrands took some time out of prepping huge new special editions of parts 4-6 in order to shed some light on these and other matters. Read our interview HERE!
Miner just doesn't want to do these kind of things anymore (not even commentaries, I guess). As for the others - not sure. Probably, like the clips, it was a case of those has-beens asking for too much money to appear in a movie celebrating the only thing anyone remembers them for.
