Paramount Home Entertainment has officially announced a May 5th release for Dexter: The Complete Second Season on Blu-ray. High Def Digest has the specs: Tech specs will see all 12 second-season episodes in 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio. Extras include multiple making-of featurettes, a spate of podcasts, and two bonus episodes each of the Showtime series ‘The United States of Tara’ and ‘Nurse Jackie.’ The set will also come BD-Live-enabled, with additional downloadable content to be announced.
Although committed to carrying out his twisted brand of vigilante justice-Dexter begins to doubt his murderous capabilities and continues to be haunted by his tortured past.
