In addition to the first still we posted last week, beyond the break you can check out the teaser trailer for Fox Home Entertainment's S.Darko: A Donnie Darko Tale, which arrives April 28th day-and-date on Blu-ray and DVD. High Def Digest reports that text specs will see a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround audio. No extras have been released yet.
Directed by Chris Fisher, the story picks up seven years after the first film (and Donnie's death) when little sister Samantha Darko and her best friend Corey are now 18 and on a roadtrip to Los Angeles when they are plagued by bizarre visions.
It looks likes its really trying too hard to have the same feeling as the first. And come on..."A Donnie Darko Tale". Seriously? And why the hell is Frank in his sisters visions when he was a part of Donnie's life? I call shenanigans.
I like the trailer but I'm really nervous about this movie. But teaser felt very fan-made because it only showed footage from the first film, and don't get confused by the parts that you may not have seen in the theatrical version because it's in the director's cut. :)
Was that an official trailer?! I agree with Scream110, that seemed fan-made to me. Oh, and I just knew they'd slip Frank The Bunny in there (which makes no sense at all)! Come on, I would've even accepted Bob The Rhino or something, but having Frank in it makes no sense - damn money-hungry bastards.

That's definitely a fan-made trailer! It's all footage from "Donnie Darko" - if you watch "Big Love", then you know what Daveigh Chase looks like now...
The movie comes out in like 2 months, is coming straight to video & they can't even have an ACTUAL trailer for it?! That was a horrible trailer. By the way nice job combining Samantha talking to Donnie & Donnie talking to Frank at the end (making it seem as though Samantha is talking to Frank)....Frank wouldn't even make sense in this movie!!!! God this movie is going to be awful. I'd have more fun playing with dog turds :)
