Shock rocker turned director is still hard at work casting up his sequel to his Halloween reboot, which is set to go behind cameras in Georgia later this month. Tonight Zombie announced the latest addition to the quickly growing cast. "The great Howard Hesseman (aka Dr. Johnny Fever) has joined the cast of H2 as Uncle Meat, owner of Uncle Meat's Java Hole," Zombie writes. You can check out footage of Hesseman from "WKRP in Cincinnati" beyond the break. The new film hitting theaters August 28th picks up right as the first remake ended, following the aftermath of Michael Myers' murderous rampage through the eyes of the sister he hunted.
Loni Anderson was Busty and Blonde but Jan {Bailey] Smithers was the hot one. Meanwhile Dr. Johnny Fever is cool by me. And Like Pike Said: Whine baby's whine.
Im stoked for this movie. Hopefully Rob Zombie brings us something impressive. Ive always enjoyed his twisted take on movies. Im a huge fan of House of 1000 and Devils Rejects. Halloween was a notch below what I had expected but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Im excited to see what he has in store this go around.
Rob Zombie fans amaze me.regardless of how bad the remake was,they still say it rocked.Taylor really sucked as laurie with all that baby talk and i wanted them all to die in the end,especially Laurie.So call me a hater but this will suck!
Above we see another puerile example of somebody's idea that an opinion is elevated to hard fact because he, in his infinite wisdom, harbors it. The remake was terrible. This is fact. Others who do not recognize this are WRONG, plain & simple. Add to this the gift of prophecy; the next one WILL suck. Another fact. Must be nice to think so highly of oneself.

I am a Zombie fan, but I am a Halloween fan first and foremost. I was not completely repulsed with his incarnation of "The baby sitter murders", but I was also not taken with it. That being said, I'm disappointed there's going to be a remake of the sequel.
Sometimes dead is good enough.
Don't worry, soundgun99, this is not a remake of the sequel in any way, shape, or form. No hospital setting, no continuation of Michael stalking Laurie, and so forth. Mr. Zombie describes this one as "Laurie's movie" in the same sense as the previous one was "Michael's movie". Get ready for a totally different film.
