"Matt Bush the son on the hilarious AT&T roll over minutes commercials (watch 'em inside) has joined the cast of H2," reports writer/director Rob Zombie. He'll also be starring in the upcoming comedy Adventureland. He joins Scout Taylor-Compton, Tyler Mane, Malcolm McDowell, Daeg Faerch, Sheri Moon Zombie, Danielle Harris, Ezra Buzzington and Chris Hardwick in the film now shooting in Georgia for release on August 28th. The new film picks up right as the first remake ended, following the aftermath of Michael Myers' murderous rampage through the eyes of the sister he hunted.

Hahaha...Funny ass commercials...this kid will probably have a small role. Nonetheless this has no affect on wether this movie will be good or not. I can't wait for this movie!! I'm sure it will be way better than 2007's,wich I also liked. OK..bring on the numerous comments on how Rob Zombie sucks and his casting choices sucks. You ppl make me laugh!

Zombie's Halloween vs Resurrection! No contest. I enjoyed the heck out of Zombie's take. I even picked it up on blu ray today and it looked sensational. It does't compare to the original, true...but we ALL new that going in. Carpenter's is genius work. Anybody who assumed the remake would be better was deluding themselves. So, i enjoyed it for what it was, Michael Myers kicking ass. And I am looking forward to PART 2. But please Rob, do something different, have Laurie Strode killed off opening scene. Scout is awful!

Rob Zombie's really going for gold with H2, huh? If you can't pick up on the sarcasm, you're probably excited about this movie and if that's the case, I feel sorry for you.

RZ casts a young fellow in what we must assume will be a secondary role and another hue & cry is raised. Come on guys; LET THE WHINING COMMENCE.

H2 will be much better than the original Halloween 2 which was pretty lame. There is only one way to go, and that's up. Rob Zombie is a true visionary when it comes to horror.

Wow, that kids career must be going down the tubes. Goes from a decent commercial gig to having to settle for a RZ movie. Poor kid.

Dude why is everyone talkin shit that he cast a commercial actor in this do you guys not understand that most of the great actors we have today started in commercials. It just pisses me off that everyone talks so much shit about this film when you know you will see it. Plus yeah the first wasnt perfect and yeah it had a high standard to live up to, but you know wha it could have been worse forsure. To boot I highly doubt most people here talkin shit could put a film together themselves so stow it. The one thing I will agree with is that I think he does need to stop putting his wife in his films at least with speaking lines maybe if see takes some acting classes it would help bt when you ry to have her cary a scene with really good actors its painfully obvious that see is amatuer at best.

oh the joys of people bitching about a rob zombie halloween again... god, you people just suck. get over it and move on, the movie will do good and you cant do shit about it, and i know all of you people bitching are going to see it anyways, and just come here the next day and please all of us with your bullshitting. thanks.

Maybe the Geico Caveman kills the roll over minutes kid and then Richard Brake corpse fucks him? Perhaps!

People bitch because no one wants to see this movie besides the retarded hick population. Skull Fuck this and Corpse fuck that...really interesting, truly genius. If you like his work...you're a complete douche. :)

disante is very insightful & perceptive. A youngster stepping up from commercials to feature films is actually seeing his career going down the tubes. Certainly not the usual reaction to this type of situation. And of course anybody who might have different tastes than this eloquent individual is a retarded douche. While you're hiding in your bedroom sharing these keen observations, do you ever wonder what the real world is like? Now eat your vegetables.

By the way, disante, what is a "hick"? Would that be someone who is not as well-traveled and cosmopolitan as yourself? Just wondering.

I'm a fan of Zombie; I love his music, and I go to the movies and watch his films. There is one problem with that, and that is; they're not any good. I liked the first one because the music kicked so much ass. Devils R. and Halloween remake were god awful. I know zombie has it in him to make a good film. The T-Rex plot sounds awsome; I don't even think he could f that up. Rob, don't be lazy on this H2. I spend a lot of money on you man. It's time to produce.

To all the picky horror fans out there listen up.We are dealing with these horror icons that have been around for over 30years.Countless sequals and remakes. If you want CITIZEN KANE then you are loving the wrong genre. These films are never going to win an OSCAR.So stop bashing these films and enjoy them for what they are, pure entertainment.I PERSONALLY LOVED ROB ZOMBIE TAKE ON HALLOWEEN.NOT A MASTERPIECE BUT GOOD AND GORY.LETS continue to support are horror icons no matter a sequal or remake its definetly better than watching these PG13 CRAP THAT BEEN COMING OUT IN THEATRES.PROM NIGHT ANYBODY I'LL BUY THE POPCORN HAHA....

Mr. Thompson, your opinion is as valid as mine or anybody's. It's all about personal taste. That being said, I don't really think that he has failed to make a film that impressed you due to his being "lazy". Do you think he just coasts along, not giving a damn how they turn out? Something tells me he is as passionate about his filmmaking as he is about his music. I have really enjoyed and respected his films up to now. Devils'Rejects is certainly one of my favorite flicks ever. Perhaps it is his style and thematic approach that do not reach you; that is up to you. But I don't really think that he has not as yet seen fit to "produce". Perhaps you should rather describe yourself as a fan of his music but not of his filmmaking prowess. These flicks are a reflection, I think, of his individual approach to, and passion for, his films. Do you really think he has just been playing around with them? But as I say, it is just my point of view.

Bukowski Thompson

If he isn't just playing around with them; then he needs to stop making movies. I love the horror genre. I love the movies Night of the Creeps, Street Trash, Story of Riki, just examples of B movies that are great. They don't take themselves too serious and they are meant to be fun. I understand this. I hate pg 13 movies too. Hey, I liked the new punisher movie. Rob just needs to got to film school, i dunno. I'll still go watch his movies.. I'm the dumbass.
