Mr. Roth was asked to do the Cabin Fever 2 film. He had already moved on to other projects, so he suggested Ti West for the gig. Ti had already done the terrific The Roost. Don't worry; this guy's good. Also check out his cool flick Trigger Man.

Oh oh, after reading the interview, it appears that Cabin Fever 2 will NOT be the film it could have been. Seems the good old "powers that be" took creative control away from Mr. West in an effort to make it more commercially viable. Goodbye Cabin Fever 2. Guess it's Ti back to the indies...

Ti probably made a kick ass Cabin Fever movie and the suits came in and fucked everything up. Just like they always do. Hollywood Rule Number 1 should be. ...if you hire a director to write and direct your movie. Let him to his vision. Why hire him at all if you are just going to fuck with it in the end???? Makes no sense at all.

House of the Devil looks very late 70's and kind of fun in a "He knows your alone" sort of way

i hope all the craziness surrounding cabin fever 2 and its post productions problems are discussed on the dvd special features. if you've never seen the texas chainsaw massacre 3 spec ed dvd its worth checking out just to hear the makers slating the whole experience on the special features. superman 4 is another failed move that has a fantasticly hateful audio commentary. When are we gonna get solid info about Cabin Fever 2? This sequel is waaay overdue

On the blog of one of the producers he states that a few weeks back he watched the final cut of the film and it's set to be released in mid-April. That means that a release date should be announced in the coming week or two, I would think.

I can't wait to see CF2! I bet this movie got an NR rating, I don't get it, why they have to cut it up for. President Obama intervene pleeeze!!!Oh yeah they want to make it an R rating. I will be buying my ticket when it comes out in mid April, and can't wait for the unedited version dvd! Best wishes Ti bb, you will get paid when they release CF2!
