While nothing has been confirmed, Moviesonline is reporting that Sony Screen Gems is now prepping to shoot Resident Evil 4 in Toronto. "Rumors are circulating to us by a VERY trusted source who so far has never been wrong that RESIDENT EVIL 4 will be coming to Toronto Canada to film." Remember to keep this filed under rumor until some confirmation. I personally think this is a oad of crap considering there's no director, writer or actors attached to the project yet.
Ugh, never trust Moviesonline! They have been posting incorrect rumors for years, especially ones about Resident Evil series. Although, if they really decide to shoot it in Toronto, it kind of makes sense, because the end of 'Extinction' implied that 4th movie will be set in Alaska. Wintery landscapes and all that =)
No writer?excuse me?I remember a while back that paul anderson said himself that he was writing the script for RE4 and he will probably produce it.And sir,if this guy has never been wrong before why in the fucking hell would you believe its a load of crap then?If he has never let anyone down with giving information then he is probably a good resource to believe.Damn your post lately have made you look foolish to me.
Oh and I know we arent suppose to directly reply to someone on here but I gotta.Vepar,at the end of RE3 it doesn't lead you to believe the 4th would be in Alaska,it leads you to believe that it will be in Japan.
sonicheroes, didn't it kinda set up for Claire and the few survivors to head to Alaska? i thought the whole journal that Alice finds says in Alaska there's no infection or something. Anderson himself in interviews (a while back so it could've totally changed by now) said that he was toying with the idea of some form of the survivors making it to Alaska. i LOVE that idea, actually. i can't recall a zombie movie set against a snowy, wintery backdrop.

Whhhhhyyyyyy?!? This series has been on a downward slide since the middle of the first movie. Let it go, if I were Capcom I'd sue these bastards for destroying my franchise.
The movies are crappy in terms of "Video game time line". But if you watch them enough they are kind of fun. That is my opinion, so if this 4th does get made, I will see it just to see it.
