WTF!!! This is sad news. I was looking forward to seeing this in 09. Hopefully it will be early 2010. Aja is a great director. Why should he take a break Milkieboy ? MIRRORS wasn't so good, but he has a knack for always having some creepy visuals that stand out. His HILLS remake was excellant. I can't wait to see what he does with PIRANHA.

Dear Aja, Please take some inspiration from Haute Tension and The Hills Have Eyes remake, if you're going to insist on Piranha 3D. Love, Evol

I hate to consider the director of the masterprice High Tension a one-hit wonder, but he leaves me no choice.

That's so typical of Dimension Films!!!! Get people's hopes up of seeing a really bad ass horror flick and then disappointing them by pushing the release date back. It's a known fact that when movies are bounced all over the place in terms of their scheduled release date they usually end up with poor box office income when they are finally released and/or if they even make it to theaters. Hasn't Dimension learned their lesson yet with shifting release dates all over the place (ex: Mind Hunters, Cursed, Rogue, All the Boys Love Mandy Lane) Come on already!!!! I'm not too sure if they're involved with Mandy Lane anymore and I really want to see that one. The only time that movies stayed on schedule and were distributed by Dimension Films is when MGM merged with them. Black Christmas, Rob Zombie's Halloween and 1408 were released on time and did well at the box office...except for Black Christmas even though it's one of my favorite horror remakes. Maybe the Weinsteins should stick with MGM because they obviously can't release movies on time. Idiots

Aja started strong with high Tension and The Hills Have Eyes. Yes Mirrors wasn't up to his standard that he had set but it wasn't terrrible. I think he'll make Piranha a kick ass flick. Bummer it's been pushed back but it was totally expected.

Aja seems to be Hollywoods go to guy for remakes these days which is a shame considering how good High Tension and Hills were. Mirrors was an epic fail . Alex needs to do something original again to get back on top.
