If she doesn't look ridiculous enough in PUSH (hitting theaters next month), star Dakota Fanning might be growing some fangs for Robert Pattinson as she's rumored to be joining the cast of New Moon, the second TWILIGHT adaptation from Summit Entertainment, reports Eonline. “There were no auditions,” a source reveals. “They just offered it to her outright, and now they’re in negotiations. They’ve been going back and forth.” In the film hitting theaters November 20th, Fanning would play Jane, a member of Italy’s Volturi, the most deadly group of bloodsucking killers in author Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling series. Director Chris Weitz is expected to start shooting MOON in March in the U.S. and Italy.
NO! shes my fav kid actress since i am sam, hide and seek, and a few others, but come on new moon?? blah (is it me or doesnt she look like a young drew barrymore?? shes grown up fast!)
Vampires that shimmer in the daylight and have a moral compass are NOT horror. Generally, I'm pretty liberal with what can pass for horror, but Twilight and its ilk are about as scary and dark as Dawson's Creek. Gimme a break.
I have yet to see Twilight (though am interested in seeing it at some point just to see what all the hype is about), I'm sure Dakota will do fine. Whether you like her films or not, the girl's a very good actress.
She's too young to play such a wily character. She doesn't have the look either for Jane, in my opinion. Taylor Momsen, AnnaSophia Robb, even Hayden Pannetiere would make a better Jane than Dakota, come on!!!
I think she's an amazing actress. She always reminded me of Christina Ricci in the way you could tell she was better then most child actors. But I wish she would do a beter horror film then this
Hmmmm...no, she's not Jane. i thought Jane was the badass evil fighter chick. i've read all the books sooooo many (48 times each) and SHE is not Jane...i thought Jane was older...and more threatning looking. T.T i like her and all, she played great in Hide and Seak, but...gah.
i read the last book of twilight, breaking dawn, and it described jane as small, petite, she isn't a fighter, but her powers are super cool!!! and plus hello! cameras can make a person look older and im pretty sure they would fix her make up! so GO DAKOTA aka JANE
