TEX SAYS: Yet another sequel in the unnecessary and unwanted sequels department (See VACANCY 2). Will we never learn?

It is huge, savage and unstoppable…and now it’s pissed off. But if you think this is going to be the usual ‘trapped teens stalked by a maniac’ movie, you’re dead wrong.
TEX SAYS: If you think Norwegian genre cinema only let’s the right ones in, then you’d be correct so far. Check out a very “cool” slasher film that definitely knows how to work the conventions and turn out a satisfying bloodbath!

TEX SAYS: More animated kiddie horrors with a cast to die for!

TEX SAYS: It goes without saying that you need to see this film. I highly recommend getting the Blu-ray on this bad boy. In 20-years THIS is the film they will still be talking about!
In the fifth installment, Detective Hoffman is seemingly the last person alive to carry on the Jigsaw legacy. However, when his secret is threatened, Hoffman must go on the hunt to eliminate all loose ends.
TEX SAYS: SAW V better all be set up for SAW VI or somebody is has got some serious explaining to do. “You won’t believe how it ends” Damn straight…I couldn’t believe how stupid it was either.
Suspecting only a night of hard beds and tacky décor, Caleb, his sexy new fiancée Jessica and his sarcastic best friend Tanner, check into the Meadow View Inn. They have no idea that it is not just another lonely motel, but a horrific trap where guests are brutally tortured and murdered while the sadistic maniac Mr. Smith and his greedy accomplices film the grisly slayings for profit. Caught in a deadly game or cat and mouse, the three young friends now must fight to survive.
TEX SAYS: Wow…just…Wow…Everything that the original film did right is totally unraveled in this painful prequel, which only leaves us with one question. How can three people as inept as these actually amass the body count that is unveiled in the original film?
Love Moonlight, heh. A bit of a guilty pleasure really - just wish it had had more of a chance. Have to wait until March for Repo over here. :( Vacancy 2 is awful and I still haven't seen Saw V. Really fancy Amusement too.
Amusement, Cold Prey and Repo! The Genetic Opera are definetely on my list. Already seem saw 5 which was an excellent conclusion of all previous Saws. I'm not sure about Boogeyman 3 because I absolutely hated the 1st one and never seen the second.
Anyone think I should give Boogeyman 2 a try at all?
I'll at least agree with fceurich that Boogeyman 2 was better that part 1 (but part 1 was freaking horrendous!) I haven't seen 3 yet - Sony never sent the screener they promised (that's not a good sign!!!)
fuck vacancy 2 the first one was a piece of shit TEX and I and agreeing with you on the 2nd I will never touch that film. And I can't wait to see REPO I never had a chance to see it in theaters cus it was playin in the city and nobody wanted to go with me. Fuckin friends.
I thought all of this week's horror releases were solid (of the ones I watched anyway). VACANCY 2 was definitely better than the first one. It's another theatrical quality Direct-to-DVD sequel and it works surprisingly well. I had extremely high hopes for REPO and while I dug it I was a bit disappointed. I think seeing it on the big screen and with an audience probably makes all the difference. I wish that's how I could have seen it. AMUSEMENT was a solid horror flick that had some great sets, a nice atmosphere, and some creepy moments. COLD PREY was really good. Loved the setting and the look of it. BOOGEYMAN 3 was really good. Why couldn't the BOOGEYMAN that went to theaters be this good? This is the best yet in the series. For the record, I thought the second was decent and the first was horrendous. I'm Netflixing KING OF THE HILL.
Amusement and Repo!
Only two that I think are worth buying... Though I really want to see IGOR. Oh and Boogeyman is one of those movies I would watch when bored and want something horrible and fun to watch. Plus I am in college, always good to relate movies to my real life.
i dont' know i just could not get into repo,i liked amusement though, vacancy 2 was not that bad,i bought cold prey last night, have not had a chance to see it yet though.
