STOP REMAKING MOVIES!!!! I really can't believe this. No one on the planet can come up with something original. If that is the case, horror fans are in big trouble.

I'm really excited about the killer horror films coming out in 3D this year,just don't skimp on the gore and we're in buisness!I believe Aja is also going to make this a hard R film.

twistedbitch, plenty of filmmakers come up with original films, the most recent being The Strangers which people b*tched left and right about being too original and cliche. I actually loved it for being just that and keeping me on edge almost the entire time. Hollywood has been recycling old ideas for years now. It's nothing new. Don't go to the movies if you don't like it. It's not going to ruin your life. There are some remakes I actually enjoy and as the times change, why not put a fresh spin on something great that can be equally as good for a new generation.

I thought "The Strangers" was going to suck ass but I'm not ashamed to admit I ended up really liking it. But the filmakers obviousls saw and borrowed heavily from the French film "Ils [Them]". Were talkiing horror movies here and originallity is few and far between. The last truly original horror movie I saw was "The Living and the Dead" which is highly recommended.

i'm totally psyched for Aja's PIRANHA 3D! the only thing he's wrong about in this piece is when he says "My Bloody Valentine 3-D] doesn’t have any movies to play the 3-D trailer in front of". many of us are saying FINAL DESINATION 4 could've easily been in front of MBV3D!! that being said, bring on PIRANHA 3D, Aja! :)

Final Destination 4 should of defintley been infront of MBV3D. Quite annoyed that they missed that opputinity.

Piranha is probably my most anticipated movie of the year after Terminator Salvation. Sure, its a remake and i also hate the fact that Hollywood keep remaking everything but this is different, its one of those films which beg a remake and not much can go wrong IMO, especially with Aja behind it. Bring it on!

I like Aja's directing style, especially what he did with The Hills Have Eyes remake. That is a rare remake that I thought was better than the original. High Tension was fun as well. I'm anxious to see what he does with Piranha.
