Rob Zombie revealed today that Chris Hardwick will be starring as David Newman in H2 (Halloween II), which begins shooting in Georgia later this month. Hardwick took on Dr. Satan in Zombie's HOUSE OF 1,000 CORPSES. "Well, he didn't do so well against Dr. Satan, but maybe he'll have better luck with Michael Myers," Zombie jokes. The new film (hitting theaters August 28th) picks up right as the first remake ended, following the aftermath of Michael Myers' murderous rampage through the eyes of the sister he hunted.
God, this is turning into well another Zombie Movie. WHY DOES HE HAVE TO CAST THE SAME PEOPLE IN EVERY FILM HE DOES GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look for different actors and or actresses not just the same old freaking people man come on....
that's pretty cool. i like filmakers who enjoy casting the same people it's like a family and the more they work together the better they get, for the most part.

Mr. Hardwick did not play Dr. Satan; he was a victim of Dr. Satan, hence the phrase "didn't do so well against Dr. Satan". Walter Phelan was Dr. Satan.
Actually, great directors have often been known to find actors they trust and continue to use them in a sort of "stock company". Some of the best of all time, such as Peckinpah, Welles, Huston, went this route. People who were born yesterday will not be aware of this, but this will not prevent them from whining about it.
I mean seriously, even if you haven't seen the movie (which would be hard to believe considering the fellating Rob Zombie gets around here), the article specifically states that Chris Hardwick was NOT Dr. Satan. Jesus Dice Rolling Christ...
I read the "Chris Hardwick starred as Dr Satan" and I almost rant to get my DVD, thinking I must have missed one seriously awesome plot twist (M Night Shayamalan style).
Zombie is one of the premiere horror directors of our day. This is a horror site. Obviously it is this site's job to keep abreast of news concerning this filmmaker, and not as a sexual act. Why does this director, above all others, bring out the puerile whiners? It is interesting. And, in my opinion, it would not be a Zombie film without the multi-talented & beautiful Sheri.
