Beyond the break you can check out the first images from Douglas Buck's The Broken Imago. In the film a vengeful nature has unleashed a powerful virus from the world’s diminishing rainforests. Transmitted through air and touch, the virus physically assaults the doomed infected, violently twisting their bodies into strange intolerable shapes. Within weeks of the first reported outbreaks, the members of an elite Catholic boarding school on a remote island lose communication with the outside world. Facing the terrible possibility of the end of the world, they begin to struggle amongst themselves. The virus hits and they realize they were wrong. Civilization isn’t ending. Only the adults are dying.

i'm really wanting to see this. the trailer was totally creepy, and the pix (even though they are just taken from the trailer, nothing really new) look gross (in a great way!).

I'm excited to see this and am hanging on to my high hopes irregardless of "The Happening". While the idea of killer nature is not exactly new, this one looks as though it might at the very least introduce some newer and scarier concepts than running from the wind. The pics are great, definately enough to sparks one's interest.

violently twisting their bodies into strange intolerable shapes. DOes that mean like somebody will be like a square. I am kind of confused by what they mean because I havn't see anything like that in a the trailer unless they are saving it for the movie

Buck score big with me with his brutal short film trilogy "Family Portraits:A Trilogy of America". While his "Sisters" remake was just bad.So maybe he can redeem himself with this one that definatly looks interesting.

I don't know, this movie looks so weird and uncomfortable.
