Just like I said, she's living a stars life in reverse; she's starred in a B-movie and had small roles in a few major flicks, now it's time for the big league - a starring role. According to the trades, new to the spotlight over the past year, billionaire Paris Hilton is in final negotiations to star in Dark Castle's House of Wax remake. Read on for details.
Variety reports that Paris Hilton is in final negotiations to join the cast of Dark Castle Entertainment's "House of Wax" for Warner Bros. Pictures.
Commercial director Jaume Serra helms the remake of the 1953 classic horror pic that starred Vincent Price, penned by Chad Hayes and Carey Hayes. Elisha Cuthbert and Chad Michael Murray star.
Hilton would play one of a group of friends who fall prey to a sinister plot while passing through a small town on their way to a college football game.
Joel Silver, Robert Zemeckis and Susan Levin are producing with exec producers Herb Gains, Steve Richards and Bruce Berman.
"Wax" is skedded to start shooting in Australia in May for an October release.
Hilton's previous film credits include "Zoolander," "Wonderland" and "Dr Seuss' The Cat in the Hat." She will next be seen in the Disney pic "Raising Helen," starring Kate Hudson.
