Roadside Attractions has released the official theatrical trailer for Alien Trespass, which hits limited theaters on April 3rd. Set in 1957, ALIEN TRESPASS chronicles a fiery object from space that crashes into a mountaintop in the California desert, bringing the threat of disaster to Earth. Out of the flying saucer escapes a murderous creature – the Ghota, which is bent on destroying all life forms on the planet. A benevolent alien from the spaceship, Urp, inhabits the body of Ted Lewis (Eric McCormack) – a local astronomer – and with the help of Tammy, (Jenni Baird) a waitress from the local diner, sets out to save mankind.

Totally has the vintage 1950's style sci fi thing going on. It has a little of MARS ATTACKS in there as well.

Jonn Horror is right. That's the first thing I thought of. So it's going to be a comedy, not horror. It's funny that people are dumb enough to confuse the two.

Looks like a retro flashback to 50's B horror films. I think it looks tongue in cheek funny and I like that kinda thing:)
