I always love a good revenage movie!!

This was the first short story that I read when I bought Nightmares and Dreamscapes. I thought it was a very good revenge story. Let's hope it's a good adaptation.

They definitely seem to have the atmosphere and location right. I love the story, but I would not have picked it for movie treatment. It is a pretty simple story, and I am concerned that it will be stretched pretty thin by a feature-length treatment. It probably would have fit better as an episode of the Nightmares and Dreamscapes series they did a couple of years ago. Still, I will definitely see it when it comes out.

I'm ready for this one....King's short stories are my favorite! Let's just hope they do it justice. :o)

No doubt it's a cool story, but I'm really wary of the casting. I really think that both Slater and Bentley are way too young for the parts they're playing. I've always imagined both characters as being older. That said, my curiosity of how they're expanding it to feature length overwhelms my doubts.

Not quite what I pictured casting-wise when I first read the story, but it could work, depending on how good the script is. After all, Sylvester Stallone was attached to this when it was first announced.
