Dark Sky Films has announced two new titles for release on April 28th. Both arriving on the same day is Michael Reeves' (Witchfinder General) THE SHE-BEAST, which comes rocking a New 16x9 'Scope transfer from extremely rare vault materials and a new commentary created exclusively for this release. In addition, THE CENTERFOLD GIRLS will also hit DVD with a New Transfer from 16mm Original Camera Negative, a New Retorspective Featurette with producer Arthur Marks and actors Andrew Prine, Francine York and Jennifer Ashley and will also be uncut and uncensored! Read on for synopses and cover art.
THE SHE-BEAST:
A small town in 18th century Transylvania is being terrorized by an evil witch. When a child is brutally attacked, the villagers capture the fiend and sentence her to death by dunking chair, but not before she casts a curse on them and their descendants. Two hundred years later, young newlyweds Veronica (Barbara Steele, Black Sunday) and Philip (Ian Ogilvy, And Now the Screaming Starts) pass through the town on a tour of the Carpathians, only to have their car pulled into a lake by an unseen force . A passing truck driver quickly rescues two bodies from the wreck. One is Philip, battered but alive, and the other is... the witch, back from the dead to wreak havoc on the town once again! Can Philip and his newfound friend, the great grandson of Professor Van Helsing, capture the witch and bring back Veronica?

THE CENTERFOLD GIRLS:
A reedy man wearing saddle shoes and an ill-fitting suit drags the nude body of a young woman- her throat slit-- along an otherwise empty beach. Soon a number of other beautiful women turn up dead, their throats also cut open. Nurses, students, stewardesses... what's the common thread? All were centerfold models for a popular men's magazine, prey to a bloodthirsty psychotic with a straight razor!
