Anyone watching football this weekend was treated to an array of TV Spots for Warner Bros. Pictures' Friday the 13th, which arrives in theaters February 13 - and was officially rated "R" by the MPAA. While there's not much new in the commercial, there are still a few shots of footage not seen in the trailer. Check out the spot beyond the break. Directed by Marcus Nispel (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), the story follows a group of young adults that find themselves going toe-to-toe with the infamous Jason Voorhees (Derek Mears) at a cabin near Camp Crystal Lake.
Friday the 13th is rated R for strong bloody violence, some graphic sexual content, language, and drug material. How I found that out? I fast forward it to the end of the TV spot and I saw the rating and description.
seen it while was watchin the eagles/giants game down my mom and stepdads house. he was like they are making another jason?? i was like no they are remaking it.....i was waiting for the chichihaha music though.....awesome that they are keeping it R!!!.....seen better trailors, but i am still PUMPED for this!!
MKultra138 and jerryolsson, you guys seem to be the only people who it my way. Whenever I say this, I get infinitely bashed. Anyway, this comes out on my birthday, so it's going to be a great day for me!
I am excited to see this. I have stated several times that I wished they had Mrs. Voorhees as the killer like the original. But I'm ok with this. I'm ready to be scared of Jason again. After F13 part 3, this series in my opinion took a serious nosedive.
I hope they keep Jason human instead of coming back from the dead jason over and over again. Other than Freddy, I like my horror icons to be real. Not some crazy fantasy B.S.
that was fuckin bad ass! it was awesome seeing him sharpening his blade. come on feb. 13!
