I just received an e-mail from IESB.net who was just as perplexed as we are by this website. What is it? Apparently it's a "spy" site run by one of the crew members on Columbia Pictures' Ghostbusters 3. All of our journalistic instincts scream "bullsh*t", yet I can't help but find myself intrigued by the site where you'll find footage from "the set", along with designs for new ghost busting gear. Odds are it's all a crock of sh*t, but with this year being the films' 25th anniversary it's quite possible that this has something to do with the crew who "ain't afraid of no ghosts." If anyone has any intel on what this viral campaign is, drop us a line immediately. We'll update you as soon as it's revealed to be a hoax or not (expect the latter).
A third installment (if there is one) just seems unnecessary and a bit late. Really do not care if it ever happens. If I never hear the dumbest theme song for a movie ever again that would be just fine.
I think it is some kind or promotional stunt for the upcoming game...which is being often referred to storywise as the third movie. I've seen several pics of a creature in a library made up of hundreds of books who looks EXACTLY like that giant creature made up of random metal objects. I'd say it's one in the same.
I've been following the game and I have not seen any pics or video of white proton packs. It's got to be Bs anyways, don't they usually add in special effects after the movie is filmed and not during?
fake sure, however, as others have said, if they wanted to do a 3rd one, its about 15 years late. Although I did hear for years everyone wanted to except Bill Murray, so we can all thank his ass.
looks to high priced for a fanflick or gag, could be real. with all the remakes and ole 80's classics being dusted off (lost boys 2...Friday the 13th remake anyone....) like the up coming tron 2 with jeff bridges this isn't a real shocker. What really want to know is when the next Jaws or the remake/prequel Jaws will be announced,,,,

It's Bullshit... The one whith the smashed taxi, shows someone on the crew, saying "Hey! Whats this?", as he reaches for the 'hidden Camera'... and didnt the Junk creature look a little like mr staypuft? nice try tho!
Perhaps the Ghostbusters are busting the "pepsi stuff" monster

That "Creature" vid... that looks like some major $$$ is involved. I'm not too quick to call it BS yet. I think it would be a bit much for a game promo... why the elaborate blog setup? My vote is going with viral for now...
