B-D reader 'Joey M.' sent us a link to the first two TV Spots for DreamWorks' The Uninvited, which arrives in theaters January 30th. The remake of A TALE OF TWO SISTERS revolves around Anna, who returns home after spending time in the hospital following the tragic death of her mother. Her recovery suffers a setback when she discovers her father has become engaged to her mother’s former nurse, Rachel. That night, Anna is visited by her mother's ghost, who warns her of Rachel's intentions. Together, Anna and her sister try to convince their father that his current fiancée is not who she pretends to be, and what should have been a happy family reunion becomes a lethal battle of wills between stepdaughters and stepmother.
The original was pathetic. It's the most unoriginal, bland, dull, pointless excuse as a "horror" movie (big emphasis on the quotes) ever made. This actually looks like an improvement, believe it or not. It's sad how many people love movies for no reason other than they're Japanese, but if they were American, they'd hate them. It's almost humorous.
Seems they've completely changed the plot of the original. Which btw is one of the best horror movies ever.
