meh. seems like theres alot of holes in this story. in the original the daughter was brutaly raped and killed. in this one she survives and tells the story? And also in the original there were four guys. Hope they can make this work cause i love the original.

'Lake Ends In The Road' still REALLY bothers me.

The villains in the original LHOTL numbered three guys and one girl, not four guys.

I haven't seen the original, but how similar is it to I Spit On Your Grave/Day of the Woman?

The original Last House On The Left sucked ass. There, I said it. Don't see a point in remaking it, but oh well. Gotta keep that cash coming, I guess.

I Spit On Your Grave is nothing but a rape fest, Last House On The Left actually has a story and interesting characters, you can't even compare the two movies. Really looking forward to this remake, I sincerely hope it's awesome!

Last house on the left was actually a very good movie.(For that time) It really upset a lot of people watching that movie. But either you like it or you don't. It will be interesting to see how well they will do with the remake.

This is one I am really stoked about for 2009. It sounds from the test screening like this one is still very brutal and intense. I imagine the original was brutal and intense at the time of release but upon viewing it recently, I didn't think it was that bad.

'I Spit on Your Grave' was a 'rape-fest'? The hell film were you watching?! Must've had some terrible tunnel vision if that's all you took away from it. To each his own, but cinematic awesomeness in my book. As for this remake, I dunno why they would do it this day and age. Even IF it remained as raw as the original, I don't see too many 'sheep' flocking to see it.

are you kidding? Why would you ever remake his movies, they are absolutely brilliant the way they are. and it's not like you're going to make it better... I don't understand why people KEEP remaking all these movies!? TRY AND WRITE YOUR OWN MOVIE! This movie I'm sure will push the envelope especially if Mr. Kraven is behind it. Can't wait to see the movie and trailer.

Loved The original. Its one of the most disturbing movies to date, but I don't know if a remake for this will work. Just have to wait and see I guess.

Anyone attached to this film should be ashamed. With the guidelines set, its only going to pale in comparison to the original, which is widely known for having the power to irritate and horrify certain nerves like very few others movies ever have. Good luck with this.
