Another clip of the miner has been discovered from Lionsgate's My Bloody Valentine 3D. In this third clip star Betsey Rue hides underneath the bed as the killer comes looking for her. In the remake hitting theaters January 16th, Tom (Jensen Ackles) returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the Valentine's night massacre that claimed the life of 22 people. Instead of a homecoming, Tom finds himself suspected of committing the murders.
Looks amazing. Looking forward to this big time. And yes you do get both the regular and 3D films when they come out on dvd. I read it in a magazine at a book store the other night.
Each clip they've released thus far has sent my interest into the proverbial sewers. I was mildly interested in this because it seemed like the creative (I use that term loosely) team behind the film had a grasp of what made the original film so great (the small town, the working class attitude, the atmosphere), but with each passing media clip I see, all I'm getting out of it now is another heartless (no pun intended) remake. Guess we'll just have to see.
I'm usually uptight for any horror movie. I praise and demand good films. But gosh I'm a sucker for slasher. No matter how shitty. I wanna see this. Now we will be getting the Little People Association of America protesting to ban this film like the Retards Association of America did for "Tropic Thunder".
I'm still hopeful for this one, and I can't believe Selene Luna (Margaret Cho's assisant from "The Cho Show" and all-around little person genre-actress) makes an appearance!!! I didn't see that one coming...
