Japanese One Sheet For 'My Bloody Valentine 3D'

This evening we got our hands on the Japanese one sheet for Patrick Lussier's My Bloody Valentine 3D, which arrives in theaters January 16th. While it's still a pretty cool poster, it looks more like DVD art than something you'd see in a theater. Check it out beyond the break, which do you prefer? In the remake Tom (Jensen Ackles) returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the Valentine's night massacre that claimed the life of 22 people. Instead of a homecoming, Tom finds himself suspected of committing the murders.

I don't care for the Japanese poster. I like the US one much better. Sometimes, less is more. But not in this case.

Cool

i like the japanese one much better. The american one is too straight forward and rather underwhelming.

Looks like a cover for a DTV movie. I like the US one much better. But I've always liked this one more: http://www.dreadcentral.com/img/news/jul08/sdcc/mybl oodybig.jpg Is it true that it was banned?

I actually really like the Japanese one. US edition is too forward and boring. You know exactly what you're getting before even buying the ticket. The Japanese one just leaves me extremely curious.

I like the japanese poster. I also prefered the first US poster with the red smeared heart behind the killer. The US final poster is just ok.

They both are pretty cool looking. But it only matters how the movie is.

I like them both for different reasons.

Japanese one for sure. It is more stylish and isn't overly in your face like the final US one. The first one was much better than final one.

Japanese one is better, more art-sy less in your face

Though I think the Japanese one looks nice, it looks photoshopped. I like the American one just a little more, but the banned teaser was the best out of all the posters, I think.

I can't wait for him to break my heart.

U.S. one is far better. The Japanese one makes the killer look weird.

yeah I think I have to go with the Japanese one. More subtle and not so in your face, and as others have mentioned, remake or not the US poster basically "kills" any kind of surprise of what were going to get. For those who havent seen the original I mean there ya go...heres the killer in all his 3D pick axe glory.

I think it's no secret how the killer looks unless he takes off that gas mask. =D
