We've got another little holiday present for you guys, beyond the break you can check out a super hi-res look at "sack head" Jason Voorhees, only this time there's no watermark across his face. Beforing acquiring his iconic hockey mask, Jason will be rocking his infamous hood made famous in FRIDAY THE 13TH PART II. In addition, this photo gives you a clear look at Jason's infamous machete, which will be slicing and dicing a new group of teens come February 13, 2009. Directed by Marcus Nispel, Friday the 13th (trailer) follows a group of young adults that find themselves going toe-to-toe with the infamous Jason Voorhees (Derek Mears) at a cabin near Camp Crystal Lake. Read on to check it out and let us know what you think.

I'm getting my hopes up way too high, but please, please let this be a decent remake. Doesn't even have to be outstanding, I'm fine with "fun to watch" or even "not a total failure". Just so that my excitement for this is justified.

Does everyone like how this movie was filmed with that extremely dark feeling I.E. Texas Chainsaw Remake, anyone think its taking away from what the originals went for.

Epic Fail.

I really am not a fan of these new remakes being shot in the pitch black. To me it doesn't make it more scary. For example, the first Halloween, Michael was scary in the daytime. Dark doesn't equal scary. In either event, I've never been more excited for a movie in my life. I think it will be good. Oh, and the pic looks really creepy.

I was watching the trailer again and was wondering if that was Amanda Righetti on the ground crawling backwards when Jason throws his axe or whatever he has in his hand down on her. WAHAT YOU GUYS THINK?

Once again, I prefer sack head Jason than hockey mask. They should have introduced the mask at the end of this film to set up part 2. Still wish Mrs.Voorhees was the killer in this one as well. I'm still anxious to see this and got a got feeling about it from the trailer.

He looks alright, but I can't say I like his jacket. The quilted pattern on it...looks really bad. Guys wear coats like that? I thought only chicks did, and that they aren't in style anymore.

He looks like a stupid ninja. Lame!

I think the clothes are spot on for a deformed, deranged lunatic who lives in the woods, by a lake, where it's cold.

the sack head look reminds me of Uwe Boll's Seed, his best work to date.

so maybe the coat belonged to his mother too...at one point I heard he was wearing her scalp (justifying the hair) so maybe he's picked up her wardrobe too? idk. With underground tunnels and Jason running around nothing in this film would surprise me. Not to say I'm not a little excited, just that this film seems like its going to take some pretty big liberties. Let's hope for the best.

magnaderalpha..I do not think Jason cares if he is fashionable or not.

looks like maybe this may end up being one of the geatest remakes (hopefully)and movie companies should take notes to make a decent remake
