Hey, I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw this movie. I heard it was a remake of an old Hitchcock film so that always makes me curious.
So I got to see a preview through a friend and was pretty impressed.
My buddy who got me into a screening said it was not like a lot of films, but he thought I'd enjoy it, and he was right.
It's not your usual horror film that's out these days, all gore and blood and screaming large breasts.
I have to admit I enjoyed it, as a thriller it was good and was back to some school horror, which I dug. I liked the look of it a lot. Done by the same DP that does the Saw movies.
The cast was good for this kind of movie. Hope Davis is creepy in it and Simon, The Mentalist, Baker makes you glad you don't have a room to rent.
I don't want to give away much, because the surprises are worth it.
Go check it out if you're bored with the Oscar over-acting crap that's currently out there. It's worth your few bucks.
I hear it's not going to be in a lot of theaters but find it if you can
