We learned that Ryan Mitts' screenplay BLOODSUCKING BASTARDS is out to directors with Argonaut Pictures producing. Described as OFFICE SPACE meets SHAUN OF THE DEAD, this is the story of a low-level employee slacker, who after being dumped by his girlfriend (who is also his co-worker), thinks that the only way she will ever take him back, is if he receives the coveted VP promotion. However, when his boss introduces his high school nemesis to the company as their newest addition to the team, our hero must find a way to get back the girl, and save his fellow employees from being turned into Vampires.
Doubtful this will be anywhere near as good as Shaun of the Dead. We'll see.
