It took awhile, but we finally got our hands on the plot for Paramount Vantage's Ink, which was written by Harris Wilkinson. In the film a group of kids go to a "Burning Man" type festival, get messed up on narcotics and decide they need to mark the occasion by getting tattoos. They wake up the next morning after the branding and they all have tattoos that are predictors of how they are slated to die at the hand of a killer. When they get back to the college campus they are hunted down according to their tattoos.
The further down the synopsis I read, the more generic it sounded. It started out cool, but ended like any other nameless horror flick at the rental store.
maybe if the killer tattooed himself and the victim dies from whatever he illustrates would've been more interesting. This almost sounds like an episode from Friday the 13th: The Series. A cursed Tattoo gun!
between this is and Chain Letter i think i'm ready for H2 and the Friday the 13th remake.
