There was a plot all over the net awhile back, last spring on imdb.com that still may be used with a twisty ending of Laurie turning into a killer (similar to the Jamie Loid scenario at the end of 4.) The plot is suppose to have more flash backs of young Michael being in Smith's Grove and Micheal's real father is suppose to have a character that of the man in black except at the end it's revealed who he is.
How the first one ended will go 2 ways, a dream sequence, she wakes up and Michael is gone. Loomis comes to her aid. 2, Michael is shot and both Loomis and Laurie think he is dead when a paramedic says he is alive they both stare at MIchael on the stretcher has he is carried away. Laurie at the hospital demands answers from Loomis, he tells her. She actually visits the wounded Michael in the hospital room and leaves with Michael's blur POV stares at her. Annie is by Laurie's side.
Michael awakes from a coma a few days before Halloween, typical year later thing then Loomis orchestras Michael's transport back to Smith's Groove. We actually see Michael having dreams of him being in Smith's Grove, so we're introduced to the horrors that he went through and Sam Loomis wasn't that great of a Dr as well.
During transport, a van transporting Michael with two patrol cars following go across a rail road track with Loomis following, but the train blocks his path so he says on his radio he will catch up, be careful. All of a sudden a sniper shoots out one of the tires of the patrol car, causing it to skid and crash, making the van and the other patrol car stop. The sniper shoots through the window at the van killing both men and then the patrol officer behind the van. The deputy radios in for help as Loomis hears. Someone lets Michael out and they both leave.
Loomis catches up and is stunned to what happened. he looks into the woods. Michael is gone.
At Haddonfields University, Laurie and Annie are in a sorority and they along with fellow sisters and brothers from a fraternity decorate an old spooky dormitory for a haunted house for Halloween, but Michael shows up and interferes with their plans. Ben Tramer has a character in this film and a brother to Linda is out for revenge and holds Laurie responsible for his sisters death.
A bounty hunter is hired to help Loomis track down Michael, they meet up with Brackett. To make things short, Annie dies at the end, Laurie is confronted by the bounty hunter who reveals he is her bilogical father. Loomis shoots her dad, then tries to take out Michael who falls backwards into an old elevator shaft. Laurie picks up Michael's butcher knife and stabs Loomis at the end.
I dig the plot sorta I'm sure after rewrites and final draft it would be great, but Zombie may take this to a cheesy level. I hope he learns better this time around.
