Fox Atomic announced today a September 18th, 2009 release for Jennifer's Body, which stars Johnny Simmons, Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried, Adam Brody, J.K. Simmons, Amy Sedaris, Chris Pratt, Juno Ruddell, Kyle Gallner, Aman Johal, Nicole Leduc, Josh Emerson, Michael Brock, Megan Danso, Ryan Levine, Sal Cortez and Megan Charpentier. The film written by Diablo Cody tells story of a cheerleader who is possessed by a demon and starts feeding off the boys in a Minnesota farming town. Her "plain Jane" best friend must kill her, then escape from a correctional facility to go after the Satan-worshiping rock band responsible for the transformation.
CJ, it's actually Amanda Seyfried who carries the film, despite being billed below Megan Fox. But yeah, Fox is the new Denise Richards. The script for this was decent, but needed a much higher body count.

and another thing, the 'satan worshipping rock-band?' That's abit too obvious isn't it? they could of atleast 'lifted' the 'acid-wash' rock band story from 'hack/slash' that involves ELVIS and goes all 'lovecraft'?! That would have been cool.
All i got to say is that at least this ISNT a fucking remake/redo/re-invisioning of some shit. Original is better then a rehash of something.Now if it does suck then at least they are trying to do something different.
horror comedy? I think I'll wait for Netflix to offer this 'un.
