This afternoon we did a little digging of our own and came across the official synopsis and sales art for both The Homecoming, the feature debut of Sergio G. Sánchez, screenwriter of Juan Antonio Bayona's THE ORPHANAGE and also Guillem Morales' Julia's Eyes, the follow-up to his 2005 Spanish-language debut, psychological thriller "El habitante incierto" (The Uncertain Guest). Morale's is also developing a remake to the film, which is currently titled The Uninvited Guest, which we also found the art and synopsis for! Read on for it all!

THE HOMECOMING

Nate and Alice are spending the last days of summer with their parents in a small cabin on a remote island when their parents inform them that they’re going to separate. When they leave the island, they discover that every last one of the inhabitants of the closest town has died.

Little by little they discover that they are not the only ones left alive on the planet but the rest of the survivors of the catastrophe represent a threat from which they must run without respite until they finally reach home and find the answer to all their questions.

JULIA'S EYES

Julia returns to Bellevue with her husband to visit her sister Sarah, who is near blind due to a degenerative illness for which she has unsuccessfully undergone surgery. When they arrive, Julia finds that Sarah has taken her own life and none of her mysterious neighbors seem to be all that surprised.

Julia has to confront not only the loss of her sister, but also the loss of all hope halting her own impending blindness, as she suffers from the same illness and would appear to be destined for the same end as her sister.

THE UNINVITED (UNCERTAIN) GUEST

An architect by the name of Felix undergoes a painful process of separation when his girlfriend Fiona decides to leave him. One night, he receives a strange visit from Martin, his disquieting neighbor, who asks him to take refuge in Felx's home and make a phone call.

A series of increasingly strange events lead Felix to the conclusion that the weird intruder has moved in to stay. Not only that... his presence gradually becomes a threat that puts Felix's life in jeopardy.

The best poster is The Homecoming, but all of these are great, though.

I like the "Uninvited Guest" poster, don't you hate when you think you see a persons shadow but it turns out to be a pile of clothes or furniture LOL.
