While Troll director John Carl Buechler has been telling B-D for almost a year now that he's prepping for a remake of the 1985 classic film, it's still yet to get behind the camera. Now, Buechler has posted a YouTube video telling fans he wants YOU to star. Beyond the break you can watch the video and find out how to get your name in mix and maybe you'll be starring alongside the real Harry Potter. The film is about a young boy enters a parallel world of wizards and magic where he befriends a good witch. Soon the boy learns that he must save the world from an evil Troll/Wizard that has the ability to hide his essence within the bodies of others.
i loved this movie when i was younger...the second one was the absolute worst movie ever, but what the hell why not try to revamp a random old "horror" flick
Really!? Im not against remakes, but come on there are so many better horror films that could get remade. What about fucking Fright Night! That could be amazing. Or The Howling.
I hope they have that crazy scene where all the trolls and goblins were partying and singing...I friggin lose my shit everytime I see that part....especially while under the ganja influence.
This one is a perfect candidate for a remake. The original was a great concept and interesting vision with mediocre execution. If Buechler thinks he can do it better the second time around, more power to him. I loved the original as a kid.
