After Dark Films' third annual Horrorfest is already a month away. On January 9th a brand new set of "8 Films to Die For" arrive in limited theaters across the country. Today the official website was launched for one of the films, Perkins' 14, which was directed by Craig Singer (Dark Ride). In addition, we got our hands on the official poster for the film that can be viewed beyond the break. Click here for details on all eight films.
Robert Perkins builds an army of 14 people brainwashed through cult-like methods to protect him from his parents' killers. When Perkins is imprisoned, the police unwittingly unleash his followers on a small town and they've only got one thing on their mind: "Kill for Mr. Perkins."
I am super excited to go to see these films this year, i've seen old horrorfest films, and while they usually aren't the best, they're still fun, and this actually sounds pretty cool
rated R for SOME violence, BRIEF sexuality, and language?? Seriously..A movie about 14 psycho-killers unleashed on a town only can manage to do SOME violence???
Forget what I said! The website has that rating for almost every movie so I searched up the actual rating: Rated R for graphic bloody violence, terror, language and some sexuality. Sounds awesome. :P
This poster is actually pretty awesome. This is the first thing I've seen regarding this movie that didn't strike me as completely ridiculous and embarrassing.
