The big story of the day is Warner Bros. Pictures has officially renamed New Line Cinema's latest DESTINATION film to Final Destination: Death Trip 3D, while also providing us with the first two official images from the film now arriving in theaters August 21st, 2009. Directed by David R. Ellis, the story kicks off when a teenager's premonition of a deadly racecar crash spares his life and those of a few lucky others. But death continues to stalk those who escaped it. Check out the stills and the brand new full synopsis beyond the break.
On what should have been a fun-filled day at the races, Nick O'Bannon has a horrific premonition in which a bizarre sequence of events causes multiple race cars to crash, sending flaming debris into the stands, brutally killing his friends and causing the upper deck of the stands to collapse on him. When he comes out of this grisly nightmare Nick panics, persuading his girlfriend, Lori, and their friends, Janet and Hunt, to leave... escaping seconds before Nick's frightening vision becomes a terrible reality. Thinking they've cheated death, the group has a new lease on life, but unfortunately for Nick and Lori, it is only the beginning. As his premonitions continue and the crash survivors begin to die one-by-one--in increasingly gruesome ways--Nick must figure out how to cheat death once and for all before he, too, reaches his final destination. The film marks the latest in the highly popular "Final Destination" series, and its first 3D installment, giving horror fans an especially visceral thrill ride.
The others were good and dont suck too much compared to the first(Which was best) im waiting for this one,FINALLY we have something good to look forward to..
Yesssssssss! I've been waiting for a movie in which someone falls down an escalator and now it looks like I may have gotten my wish! It's an Xmas miracle!
Looks badass, is that a girl in a car wash joint?
I agree with those who say "I won't get tired of this movies", how can you get bored of elaborated death scenes and crazy accidents? Hell no!
Can't wait for the trailer of this one!
I may be in the minority in this case but i don't really care. I hate the new title, FD4 sounded way better IMO. The new title in a way kinda implies that there probably will be no references to the 3 previous movies and will practically be almost like a reboot.
I just KNOW they're going to change the title back. I remember when they were going to call FD3 "Cheating Death: Final Destination 3", but they just used FD3. I really hope they change it back to Final Destination 4..."FD Death Trip 3D" sounds like a theme park ride! Oh well, I'm sure they'll make the right decision..
I love these movies and this movie looks so sweet! At first I thought the new title was kind of lame but it's starting to grow on me. I hope they change it back to just "Final Destination 4" though...
I'm dying to see this! (no pun intended) The second one is hands down the best and actually takes my number one spot in the "teen slashers" genre even though technically it isn't a slasher.
