BD Horror News - 'New Moon' Ready to Roll, More Info on 'Eclipse'

An exclusive update on the progress of New Moon, Summit Entertainment's sequel to Twilight. We learned this evening that the screenplay for the sequel has already been completed and turned in, so Summit is rushing to find a new director who can get behind the camera ASAP for a release next year. In addition, to clarify on the news that film will be shot back-to-back with ECLIPSE, the third book in the franchise by Stephenie Meyer, we learned that the actual plan is to have a SAW-esque turnaround. What this means is that they'd like to jump right into Eclipse following NEW MOON and have the film in theaters by 2010. So for the haters out there, the franchise could be all said and done come 2011. Chris Weitz is close to signing on for both films, according to this report earlier this evening.

HAHAH SAW-esque turnaround. Bitch please. I've never seen such a piece of shit movie in my life as Twilight. That Robert dude is one ugly motherfucker and so is Kristen. True Blood is a thousand times better and that's not saying much. Fuck these books and the sorry piece of shits who like them. Burn baby burn!!!

I think "Saw-esque turnaround" means a new movie out every year around the same time, not that the new movies are going to be Saw-like thrillers. Twilight wasn't bad but I think people are so busy hating it that they forget that they don't have to click on the articles. No one says you have to read all of the press that Bloody-Disgusting puts out. I hate lots of movies, so I avoid all of the press on the directors and the movies, I don't chase them down so I can gripe at the people that like them.

oh what the heck ill jump on the twilight hating bandwagon too. first off kristen stewart aint that pretty. second, idk why bloodydisgusting is even covering these pos movies/books. they dont even contain to horror if u ask me. third true blood and the defunct moonlight are a hell of alot better thaan these stupid tweeny movies. atleast moonlight had a HOT vamprire. that robert patinson aint even that good looking in my opinion.
