MTI’s Artist View Entertainment releases the horror film SPIKER on DVD December 16th – and after rave reviews at The New York City Horror Film Festival, Laurel Lane Pictures & Moodude Films announced that SPIKER (known as Blood Rails in its early stages) will get a wide release at stores and online everywhere.
If you haven’t heard of Moodude Films, and you’re a fan of gruesome horror, you should check them out. They are a small film company based out of New York City cranking out some seriously violent and bloody T&A. Just check out the trailer for Spiker, as well as other clips and still, at www.spikermovie.com . Brutal! Here’s the synops – cover art below.
A nightmare come to life, the Spiker is a massive pink-eyed albino and a maniac killing machine whose physical endurance borders on the fantastic. He escapes from an asylum and returns to the small town he terrorized years before, where he slashed his victims to pieces with railroad spikes and buried the bodies under the train tracks outside of town. When a group of local teens decide to camp out at an abandoned house, they are attacked by the Spiker and discover a web of terrible secrets hidden there. Frank Zagarino (The Killing Point) and David 'Shark' Fralick (The Unknown) star.
Spiker becomes available on DVD & Blueray wide: 12/16/2008
After seeing the back cover at work I decided against renting it. I know you shouldn't judge things by their cover, but I believe sometimes you can, and this is one of those times. I just couldn't bring myself to rent it.
