SenoReality Pictures has released a teaser trailer for their next feature film project NAIL BITER, the second feature film by director Patrick Rea (THE EMPTY ACRE). Latest word is that they're aiming for a summer 2009 shoot. You can read more about the film inside, and check out a pretty rad still.
NAIL BITER, written by Rea and Kendal Sinn, is about a mother and her three daughters caught in a Kansas tornado - which instigates an encounter with some rather frightening creatures. A lot of preliminary monster design has been done in Los Angeles by effects artist Allan Holt (Buffy, Angel) - a photo of which lurks below. Along with NAIL BITER, Patrick Rea is also working on a vampire script titled "Running for Daylight".
The short teaser is currently available at www.senoreality.com . The website also has links to several of SenoReality's new short films, "Torture Porn", "Now That You're Dead", and the regional Emmy Award winning “Woman's Intuition” which is a cool short film worth checking out. Fans of this modern short film master may be interested to know that SenoReality is putting the final touches on their latest short, "Mrs. Brumett's Garden". Horror veteran composer Harry Manfredini will be providing the score.
