F FaNgoria in the A I hate that mag. I'm sticking to my RUE MORGUE and Horrorhound. Now those magazines dont't pander to the latest hollywood releases. I mean come on Fangoria had the Hills Have Eyes 2 for there cover story where as Rue Mourge was doing a Phantasm cover story. As far as HorrorHound It Owns Fangoria 10-1!

Not to impressed with it I had pretty high hopes at first news of this movie cause I loved the original. Then I saw pics, cast, and an interview here with the writers or directors cant remember who, and was like fuck this just went to crap real quick the only thing I have liked so far is the house other than that blah!

I'll probably rent it when it comes out of DVD, but I still think they are trying to convolute a very simple idea with the idiotic "drug dealer" sub-plot. And the demon, itself, looks too "classic" in the sense. I think the demons in the original series, as well as the Demoni series looked more creepy cause they were more based off the look of Linda Blair in the Exorcist. They generally looked human, without things like tails or horns, but had rows of sharp teeth, sunken in eyes and claws. Putrid looking skin is a must. They did that in the Exorcist as well as Demoni and the origninal Night of the Demons(the demon's spirit taints the body, making it look sickly and infected...and GROSS). The demon above too fair-skinned! She should look like her flesh is peeling or something with major rotted blemishes.

I really don't care for the demon. They could do without the horns, makes them look more like a goat instead of a demon.

I, for one, am glad for the horns. I think they're neat-o. Also, it appears as though Gorezone has passed up Fangoria in terms of cool-factor. Still, it'll never beat Rue Morgue.
