This evening Universal Home Entertainment sent us the official cover art and full specs for their DVD and Blu-ray release of Death Race, which arrive at retailers on Sunday December 21st. Just so you guys know; I don't always preach the original version of a movie (although it probably seems like I do). But you really need to see the original Death Race 2000. You won't believe what that movie got away with. Fuck this weak ass remake.
saw the original with Stallone. Coldblood you are right to say they got away with a lot.I haven't seen this one yet but will give it a whirl just to compare it.
The original was fucking stellar. But I actually enjoyed this one too. As long as you don't get too hung up on how inferior it is to the original, it's decent, mindlessly watchable stuff.
